Sizes above 1500mm must be propped.
The Birtley MBL kicks off Birtleys L shaped range of angled lintels and is an affordable answer to supporting metre box openings and other suitable light duty jobs. The MBL neatly sits inside 100mm brick work, adding increased support whilst remaining invisible from the outside. Coated in zinc, the lifespan and resilience of the MBL is significantly increased.

Installation of the metre box lintel is straightforward, requiring placement on a bed of mortar however any size over 1500mm needs to be propped to ensure full load bearing capacity.
