ProJoint PolySweep Polymeric Sand for Block Paving

ProJoint PolySweep is a high-performance polymeric sand designed specifically for block paving joints. This brush-in setting sand provides a fast, reliable way to stabilise blocks while delivering a long-lasting, weed-resistant and frost-resistant finish.

Unlike traditional kiln-dried sand, PolySweep contains advanced binding agents that activate once wet, helping to reduce washout and joint erosion.

Why Use Polymeric Sand for Block Paving?

Standard jointing sand can wash out over time, allowing weeds and movement between blocks. PolySweep polymeric jointing sand hardens once cured, improving joint stability while maintaining flexibility suitable for permeable installations.

Why is PolySweep suited to block paving, over other products?

PolySweep is specially designed for block paving. It bonds perfectly with the narrow, uniform joints found in block paving, ensuring a durable, long lasting finish.

What is the difference between PolySweep and other products on the market?

PolySweep stands out because of its superior durability and resistance to cracking. It also has a strong bond, making it less prone to washing out.

How long does PolySweep take to cure?

PolySweep typically cures within 24–48 hours, depending on the weather. Once cured, it forms a strong, durable joint between the block pavers.

Do I have to remove all the weeds before application?

Yes, it’s important to remove all weeds and debris before applying PolySweep. This ensures the joints bond properly and prevents weeds from regrowing.

How long can it not be rained on, after application?

PolySweep needs to stay dry for at least 24 hours after application. If rain is forecast, it’s best to cover the area with a tarpaulin to protect it.
