Description

The standard electric recessed meter box is designed to house all domestic electric meters.

Cable entry is located at the bottom left-hand side, with two options for installation: surface entry through the 60mm-protruding architrave or via the building cavity.

In both configurations, a protective hockey stick is used between the LPDE ducting and the meter box. This meter box complies with ESI Standard 12-3 for external use.

• Complies the British Standard BS 8567:2012 & Fire retardant to BS 476, Part. 7, 1997, Class 2.
• Complies to ESI standard 12-3 April, 1986.
• Constructed from Glass Reinforced Plastic (suitable for all meters including prepay and smart).
• Will not corrode, is weather resistant (easily cleaned and can be painted).
• Cable entry and meter tail positions are predrilled and supplied with in-fill cap, cable entry position via hockey stick (not supplied)
