Dakea Better Safe is a popular, center-pivot roof window at its best. With an exceptional glazing, they ensure excellent energy conservation performance, safety, and comfort.
Dakea Better Safe stands out for its glazing. It is equipped with a new Thermostat feature – double low emission coating that reflects heat back into the room and which means thermal transmittance of 1,3 W/m2K.


Thanks to the new Thermostat, heating is more efficient and energy bills are lower. In addition, the internal pane is laminated, for added safety in case of glass breakage. Together with the toughened outer pane that protects against impact from outside, they provide complete safety.


For added comfort, Dakea Better Safe also has a ventilation valve and a handle with two additional locking positions for flexible ventilation control. The solid wooden frame has 2 coats of lacquer and comes in 2 colors: natural wood and white


Dakea Better Safe is covered by up to a 20-year guarantee.

Safety Lock

Increased Safety
High-quality push lock that provides increased protection against burglars and incidental opening from the inside.
• Installation only takes 15 minutes and allows installation of all kinds of internal blinds

Electric Opener

Provides the comfort and ease of automated roof window operation. The device is also equiped with
a rain sensor for automatic closing when it rains. An easy and flexible solution which removes the
need of having to reach up to operate the roof window. Perfect for windows in difficult to reach
positions. Remote control operation only. After installation the window may not be manually
operated. This opener also comes with a 2-year guarantee.

One complete roof window opener set includes:
• a motor unit with all electrical connections
• a rain sensor
• a remote controller
• screws
• mounting brackets
The motor is placed at the bottom of the window
frame and will operate the opening and closing of
the window.
The product is compatible with products with the
io-homecontrol® system.

Telescopic Opener Rod

• The telescopic opener rod can be used for all Altaterra roof windows.
• The opener rod makes it possible to open / close the window or the ventillation valve and operate the blackout blind or venetian blind when the window is out of reach.
• Can be extended from 100cm up to 180cm maximum length.
