Often used as an engineering brick due to its high strength and low water absorption, this brick is ideal when the bricks are visible above ground level. The smooth blue finish provides a more consistent colour compared to other blue engineering bricks, which can vary in shade and may include hints of purple.
These blue bricks are also often used on the top course of boundary walls, helping to protect the wall from weather damage, particularly frost.
